About the Founder

Du Toit Steenkamp founded Workforge Global to help organisations build high-performance work through better alignment between people, process and technology.  He believes in building solutions that benefit humans in the long run.

With 21 years' experience his background spans operational leadership, workforce productivity improvement and transformation advisory across large-scale and complex business environments. He has worked extensively in areas relating to operational performance, workforce effectiveness, capability optimisation and sustainable business improvement.

Prior to founding Workforge Global, Du Toit held leadership roles focused on workforce productivity and operational improvement within Africa’s largest retail organisation, and has advised organisations within a global consulting environment on operational effectiveness, transformation and future-focused workforce initiatives.

His work focuses on helping organisations improve performance by intentionally designing how work happens — balancing operational efficiency, workforce effectiveness and practical technology enablement, including responsible adoption of AI.
